‘Jessie’: ‘Expect The unexpected’, Says Director Pawan Wadeyar

The highly-awaited film ‘Jessie’ starring Parul Yadav, Dhananjay and Raghu Mukherjee has finally hit the screens today. In a candid interview with TOI, director Pawan Wadeyar has revealed what’s interesting in the movie and why should people go and watch it. From music to story and technicality, the RS Productions’ film will be unexpected, says the director.

About the music of ‘Jessie, Pawan said, “It has been proved that when the songs of a film are a hit before the release, the film itself is bound to receive a bigger opening. The entire album, composed by Anoop Seelin, has been declared a hit”. The love-angle between the trio is another thing to look out for, according to the filmmaker, who said, “The chemistry between my lead actors — Dhananjaya and Parul — is to look out for. They are surely going to be considered one among the most successful onscreen pairs the industry has seen. However, I must add that the chemistry between Raghu Mukherjee and Parul is equally authentic and realistic”.

He also said, “Expect the unexpected as far as the story of Jessie goes, and you are still going to be surprised. A lot of effort has gone into the screenplay and dialogues”, and added, “I edited the climax scene 18 times before I was convinced the story had a perfect flow. The presence of senior actors like Sumalatha Ambareesh and Avinash brings in a big twist in the film. Watch out for the surprises that come up once their characters appear onscreen”. Pawan Wadeyar hopes that his fourth Kannada film ‘Jessie’ will also be a blockbuster.
