Kangana Ranaut’s Queen Was Very Empowering For A Lot Of Women: Kajal Aggarwal

Kajal Aggarwal will be playing the lead character in the Tamil remake of the Bollywood hit, Queen, called Paris Paris. Kajal Aggarwal has been doing quite a bit of travelling for the same. The actress is currently camping in Mysuru, where director Ramesh Aravind has been canning the wedding sequence for all three versions (Kannada, Tamil and Telugu). After completing a 40-day schedule in France last year, the actress is back in the town and shred her experience of being a part of this film.

Talking about the film, she said, “I loved the fact that Kangana Ranaut’s Queen was such a simple film, so relatable, so honest and at the same time, in a very simple manner, it was very empowering for a lot of women”. She added that it did not matter where the girl came from or what status she belonged to; people from all over the world could relate to her.

Moreover, she wants the story to reach out to the tiniest of villages of Tamil Nadu and everyone to be able to relate to it. This is only reason why the makers are personalising it, making it more local and relatable while keeping Tamil sensibilities in mind. Further, she wanted her character to be different from the original Rani that the audiences have seen.

Kajal has tried to keep the character very normal keeping in mind the fact that it is in 2018 now.
