Kaniha To Play Teenage Mom In Her Next

After impressing the audiences with her performance in Spirit, actress Kaniha is all set to essay the role of a loving mother in her next film as well. The Kannada star will play a teenage mom in '10 Kalpanakal', which is directed by Don Max. She will be seen sharing screen space alongside Anoop Menon.

Talking about the film, the actress told TOI, “The crime thriller has me playing Anoop Menon's wife, Sarah. She is a typical Christian wife similar to my character Daisy in Bhagyadevatha. She wears pretty cotton saris and has a simple look. But while enacting the role, what I realised is that sometimes such a role can also get challenging. I had to look as natural as I could”.

She explained her character and said, “I have a 15-year-old child in this movie played by Shebin Benson. The movie cuts between sequences in the past and the present. So I enjoyed playing different phases of motherhood and marital life”. Kaniha added that the script is the hero of the movie.
