Kavya Shetty To Play A Journo In Her Next

Kavya Shetty seems super excited about her next movie which is titled as Sold. The movie is Kavya’s first film with a female director. Kavya Shetty will be playing the role of a journalist in the movie. The actress has earlier done something like that before, though this time the story unfolds from her perspective.

“Sold is a Kannada film directed by Prerana Agarwal, which explores human trafficking. The story centres around three pivotal people — a young girl who is trafficked, the main villain, and my character, an investigative journalist. Prerana’s goal is to create awareness about human trafficking and child labour, and this story is the result of her research into the subject”, she said.

The actress also explained that she has incorporated elements from real-life stories to spin this tale. Moreover, Kavya played a journalist while making her debut In Tollywood cinema. The movie was titled Shivani, directed by Sai Gokul Ramnath, under the banner of Sax Pictures.
