Narendra Modi Postpones A Kannada Movie?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was highly impressed with a Kannada film. It was for the first time that Modi watched a few clippings of any Sandalwood movie. He was so fascinated by the movie that he asked the producers of the flick to either dub or remake the movie in all languages.

‘22 July 1947’, directed by Vishal Raj had left a deep impression on Modi. This movie featured Suchendra Prasad, Achyuth Kumar, Sudha Rani, Shobaraj and a few other actors. The flick speaks about the importance of our flag in today’s era.

The title of the flick, ‘22 July 1947’, represents the day when the Tricolour was officially accepted as the Indian flag by the first Indian Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. This movie was scheduled to be released on July 27 but on the recommendation of the Prime Minister it has been postponed. “The film will now be released in theatres on August 12,” said Vishal Raj, the director.

Desimartini hopes that ‘22 July 1947’ evokes the respect of all the citizens towards the Indian flag which has perhaps subsided and make this movie a big hit.
