    Pavan Wadeyar Talks About Kannada Remake Of Pelli Choopulu

    Telugu flick Pelli Choopulu released last year in July. The film not only did well at the box-office but was also applauded by the critics. Helmed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam and bankrolled by Raj Kandukuri and Yash Rangineni, the film starred Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma in the lead roles. The film has attracted many filmmakers and it is now being made in Tamil and Kannada.

    For the Kannada remake of the film, Sanjeev Khasnis of Harsha Entertainers, bagged the remake rights of the film for a fancy price. The latest in the front is that the first shooting schedule of the flick has been wrapped up. The film is being helmed by director Pavan Wadeyar, who is also the lead actor in the film. The film is hyped for its picturesque locations and an ensemble cast filled with actors high on comic timing.

    Talking about Shaadhi Bhagya, Pavan said, "We obtained permission to shoot at the Jindal Township in Ballari, which will be a treat for our audience. It has been a fun time shooting around those new, untouched spaces. We had a great schedule in Ballari, where we shot for around 20 days. The cast includes a lot of big names like Achyuth Kumar, Sudha Belawadi and Avinash, as well as Dharmanna of Rama Rama Re fame and Nagabhushana, who has become popular as Dr Kamesh with the KEB web channel".

    The film also stars U-Turn fame actress Shraddha Srinath who will play the leading lady in the film.
