Police Case Against Darshan For Abusing His Wife Again

Darshan Thoogudeep had been behind the bars in 2011 for physically assaulting his wife and once again the Sandalwood superstar has tangled himself in the web. His wife Vijayalakshmi has recently alleged that he has abused her and has also kicked her security guard on March 9. The police have registered a case against the actor and have summoned him for enquiry.

The security guard has revealed that Darshan came up to his wife’s place at around 7.15 pm. He demanded for the keys of his luxury car which was parked at Vijayalakshmi’s residence. When the guard expressed his inability, he abused him and kicked him in his stomach. The guard has also alleged that Darshan was drunk when he had arrived.

Sa Ra Govindu, the president of Karnataka Film Chambers of Commerce, said in a statement, “But this is unbecoming of an actor, who is considered as a model by his fans. He cannot abuse his wife in public. Whatever is the issue, it should be solved within the four walls of the room. We cannot intervene and solve this family issue. He will not listen to us”.

After the issues that cropped up in 2011, the couple had resolved it all to to patch-up. Grapevine suggests that the duo has not been on good terms since past one year. Darshan has claimed that Vijayalakshmi is having an extra marital affair.
