Puneeth Rajkumar Croons Title Track Of ‘Jai Maruthi 800’

Puneeth Rajkumar has sung many songs in the past but this is for the first time that he has sung for director Harsha and so is the filmmaker very much excited about it. The title song of ‘Jai Maruthi 800’, sung by Rajkumar, has been penned by director Chethan Kumar. The recording of the song, whose music has been given by Arjun Janya, has been done on March 7.

“This is the first time, Puneeth is singing a song in my directorial film and I am glad that I could get him to sing on my favourite lord. In fact Puneeth was equally excited when he heard the tones of the title song and said that it was one of the best songs he had come across on lord Hanuman”, revealed the director.

About the release date of the film, he said, “Jai Maruthi 800 will be an outing for children this summer and I am confident that even the whole family will enjoy it mainly for its comedy”. He further added, “Just as the audience enjoyed watching Sharan and Chikkanna together, Sharan and Arun’s combo in Jai Maruthi 800 will be a hit. The two have excellent comedy timing. Shruti Hariharan plays the love interest to Sharan and I should make a special mention about Shubha Poonja’s comedy with Sharan, which has really worked out. It will be another highlight of the film”. Harsha is eyeing for a summer release for ‘Jai Maruthi 800’.
