Director Adarsh H Eshwarappa, who made his debut with 2017 debut flick, the women-centric film Shuddhi, is all set to make his next film. He has just finished writing the script for his upcoming film, which is yet to be titled. For the psychological thriller, Adarsh will be in part working with the technical team of Shuddhi.

Talking about the film, the director said, “It gives work to your mind and affects you emotionally as well”. He further revealed, “The film will be a complete tribute to Puttanna Kanagal, and is influenced by his film, Sharapanjara. It will be like what happens if Christopher Nolan and David Fincher get together to give a tribute to Puttanna — with the darkness of Fincher and the screenplay style of Nolan”.

Moreover, it has been learned that the film is a tribute to Puttanna Kanagal. He said, “The film actually started out as a horror, and over the five months it took to write the film, it took a different route and turned out to be influenced by Puttanna's films and his choice of subjects”. The director also said that the film will have only six to seven characters in total and is set to go on floors in by April-May, which will be entirely shot in Karnataka.
