Rachita To Work In A Female-Centric Film

Rachita Ram is all set to work in a women-centric film. She will soon commence shooting for April, a film that is completely centered on her. The actress is quite excited about it and feels that it is one of the best scripts she ever came across.

Rachita excitedly said, “This is a heroine-based subject if we were to classify it that way, and it is easily one of the best scripts that I have come across so far”. The film will be helmed by debutant director Satya Rayala. Produced by the makers of 8MM, the film is based on true incidents.

Moreover, the film has Udith Haridas as the music composer, Arjun Shetty as cinematographer and Pratheek Shetty on board as the editor. Talking about the film, Satya says, “The film is titled April because Rachita’s character is named April D’Souza. Just as April is the second month of spring, our protagonist too gets a second chance in life, which is the reason behind her name. This is a thriller and Rachita’s character drives the film, as she is there for nearly 70% of the film”.
