RJ Siri, Samanvita Shetty To Be Part of His Next Film, Reveals Hemanth

Director Hemanth M Rao has recently revealed that he would be casting RJ Siri and Samanvita Shetty for his forthcoming film, Kavaludaari. The director has already pulled the curtains off the other roles. Rishi, who debuted with the movie Operation Alemelamma, will be seen in the movie along with Ananth Nag and Siddharth Maadhyamika.

Speaking of his cast in the movie, Hemanth said, "Siri has been a part of quite a few art films under famous directors, and her quality of work reflects that. Samanvita, on the other hand, is relatively new, having only worked in ad films prior to this. But at the auditions, she impressed us the most with her performance and suited the role perfectly. Both of them were chosen keeping in mind that they need to play characters that are set in the 70s." Clearly, the RJ has succeeded in impressing the director!

Elaborating on the characters of Kavaludaari, Hemanth said, "Siri is cast opposite Ananth Nag sir for a segment of the story that's set in the past. Her character is that of a wife of a police officer in a typical middle-class household and it is seen from her husband Ananth sir's point of view. As for Samanvita's character, she's a rich, fashionable woman from around the same timeline — donning sleeveless blouses, pearl necklace and the like — who inadvertently gets entangled in a robbery."

The director is getting the backing of Puneeth Rajkumar and big production houses for financing the movie, which he plans to execute on a big scale. Desi Martini wishes him all the luck for his project. Also, good wishes to the new face, RJ Siri for her very first project with the director.
