Duniya Vijay starrer ‘RX Soori’ released last month on September 4. The Sreejay directorial did an average business at the box office. The makers did not benefit much from the film and now the film’s producer has landed into trouble.

According to the reports, K.A. Suresh, who bankrolled the film, has been summoned by the city court. Reportedly, the producer has been alleged of copying two songs from old movies. Lahari Audio, who owns the copyrights of the two old songs, has demanded Rs. 10 lakhs per day from the day of the film's release as compensation. The compensation has amounted to Rs. 3.5 crores.

The songs that were used in the flick were ‘Anatha Maguvade’ from the movie ‘Hosa Jeevana’ and another song from ‘Chaitrada Premanjali’. Lahari Audio's Tulsiram Naidu said, "Producer Suresh had spoken to us about using the songs. We were negotiating the price, but in the end, he used the songs without taking permission from us”.
