Samyuktha Hegde To Debut In Tamil Industry With Puppy

Actress Samyuktha Hegde, who got fame with Kirik Party, is all set make her Tamil debut with Puppy. The film is an entertainer drama directed by Nattu Dev, opposite Varun in the lead. The flick seems to be more interesting with the dog’s character as a lead.

Adding to it, the Bengaluru girl says, “I have been getting offers from the Tamil industry for a while, but I wasn’t convinced with whatever I got. But when Puppy came my way, I was glad. It has a great storyline and and I am dog lover. Also, I knew some people from the production house. It was easier for me to trust and work with people whom I know here.”

On the dog’s character, Nattu says, “The dog’s character is, in fact, crucial for the protagonist’s transformation. Like us humans, the dog also has a certain character in the film. The emotional connect for the protagonist with the dog is very high in this film.”
