Sharmiela Mandre To Do A Sexy Belly Dance Number In Shivarajkumar’s Next

Shivarajkumar’s ‘Mass Leader’ was lately in the news over a title-ownership row. The movie, which was earlier named as 'The Leader Shivarajkumar', was changed to ‘Mass Leader’.  However, the matter has been resolved now. Apart from Shivarajkumar, actress Sharmiela Mandre is also in the film as an investigative journalist.

The latest update about the flick is that Mandre also shot for a sexy belly dance number recently. When asked about the dance connection with that of the journalist, she said, "This was exactly my query to the makers. But when audiences watch the film, they will understand the importance of the song and how it leads to a progression in the plot. This is akin to the kind of number that Kareena Kapoor Khan had done in Agent Vinod, in terms of her going undercover as a dancer".

She added, "There are very few belly dancing numbers in films. The one that people instantly recall is Mayya Mayya from Guru and I used that as my benchmark to give my best to this number. People have seen me as either a village belle or the girl-next-door. This dance number should be quite different and change their views about me onscreen".
