Shiva Rajkumar In ‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’?

‘Gauthamiputra Satakarni’ is Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film. Many big stars want to be a part of this prestigious project. Recent reports have it that Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar has been booked to play an important cameo in the upcoming Telugu historic flick. This film is based on life history of 2nd century CE Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni.

The producer of this impending entertainer, Y. Rajeev Reddy, said, “Shiva Rajkumar sir will play a special guest role. What's really interesting is that nobody from his family — and that includes his late father (Rajkumar) and brother (Puneeth Rajkumar) — has acted in any other language other than Kannada.”

Moreover, directed by ace filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi, the movie also stars Shriya Saran, Hema Malini and Kabir Bedi. The flick is being made on a hefty budget and is expected to release on January 12, 2017. Meanwhile, Shiva Rajkumar will work on his Kannada projects. Currently, he has Manju Swaraj’s ‘Srikanta’ and Sahana Murthy’s ‘Leader’ in his kitty.
