Shivarajkumar And Yogaraj Bhat To Join Hands For An Action Movie

Shivarajkumar and Yogaraj Bhat have always talked about working together and have been very vocal about it. The stars do not have a film together yet. But the filmmaker has something in the kitty. They have been working on a script for Shivanna and is ready to go on floors by the end of the year. This as-yet-untitled project will be started once both of them complete their pending commitments.

“Shivanna has an exemplary body of work behind him and has been part of several iconic films. He has a larger-than-life image among Kannada film audiences, so coming up with suitable content to make a film with him is challenging. I had been working on something for a while and recently when I met him after the Tagaru 125-day celebrations he Okayed the project,” says Yogaraj.

Moreover, a title announcement may happen around Shivanna’s birthday in July. The makers are planning for the official launch during Diwali. Further, the filmmaker said, “One of the trademark elements of my films is the dialogues, which have a certain humour-laced flavour. When music director Harikrishna and I were guests on a TV programme hosted by Shivanna, he had said that he wanted a chance to mouth such lines. It is now working out. Our film will be an action flick, and will see the actor as a common man, albeit in a never-before-seen avatar. I have worked on the script to ensure that the portrayal of his character onscreen is novel. V Harikrishna has been roped in for the music”.
