Shivarajkumar Will be Part Of 'Oppam' remake?

Actor Shivarajkumar is all set to be seen in the remake of Malayalam film ‘Oppam’. The actor, who had earlier declared that he will not act in remake movies seem to have changed his mind. The film, which features Mohanlal, Samuthirakani and Anushree in the lead roles is said to be remade in Kannada.

In the remake, Shivarajkumar will be playing the role of megastar Mohanlal. Moreover, the film is said to be helmed by GVR Vasu. The director had previously worked with renowned filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma as an associate. The Malayalam version of the movie has been directed by Priyadarshan.

Further, the Malayalam version was released on September 8 last year. The story of the film is based on a retired judge, who goes through tough time keeping his daughter safe from a convict whom he had sent to prison. The flick is expected to go on floors in October this year.
