‘Smile Please’: K. Manju Wants To Cast Only Bengaluru Girls

K. Manju has revealed that for his upcoming titled ‘Smile Please’, he wants to cast only Bengaluru girls. Out of the three female lead roles, only Neha Patil has been finalised while the casting for other two characters is yet to be done. However, speculations are rife that Urmila Gayathri has also been roped in for the project.  

“There are many who suggested actors from Mumbai. But I have told them I will cast only girls from Bengaluru”, he said. The film, which stars Gurunandan as male lead, will be helmed by Raghu Samarth.

“Let us concentrate on giving talents from Karnataka the first choice. We still have time and will find the right actresses for the other two roles. Neha Patil has been finalised and the other two characters also have equal importance”, he added.
