Sumanth Was Perfect To Play Lee, Says HM Srinandan

HM Srinandan is quite pleased the way his forthcoming flick has shaped up. One thing the director was sure that he never wanted a big star in the lead. The script demanded the lead character to portray three variations and he found that in Sumanth.

"The stars of Lee are the screenplay and the characters in the story. For my leading man, I wanted an actor who would live the role and whom audiences would relate to as the character and not the star he is. For Lee, he spent several months in pre-production, preparing for the role, as it has multiple shades and required him to be adept in martial arts as well," revealed HM Srinandan.

Talking about Sumanth’s character, the filmmaker said that he would be a Karate master in the flick and a big fan of Bruce Lee. It is being produced by Sarathy Satish, Darshan Krishna, Vinay SB for Vivid Dreams Entertainment.
