This Actress To Play Puneeth’s Mother In Anjaniputra

Ramya Krishnan is a known and celebrated name in the South Indian cinema industry and is also a famous name in the Bollywood industry for her outings in Hindi films. The actress is on a roll and is almost everywhere. She can work simultaneously on different language films.

In 2016, the actress did two films, including one Telugu and the other is Kannada. She has Baahubali: The Conclusion and few more projects lined up in the year. One of them is a Kannada movie where the actress will play Puneeth Rajkumar’s mother in movie Anjaniputra.

The film features Puneeth and actress Rashmika Mandanna as the lead pair. Helmed by choreographer-turned-director Harsha, the film started rolling recently.  If reports are to be believed, Anjaniputra is the official remake of the Tamil film Poojai. Poojai is a 2014 Tamil action masala film helmed by Hari and bankrolled by Vishal, who himself plays the lead role alongside an ensemble cast featuring Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Mukesh Tiwari.
