Upendra Will Next Be Seen In ‘Modi’?

Upendra is a multifaceted star of the Kannada film industry. The actor has served Sandalwood industry for about 27 years. Reportedly, the actor is working on a fresh story this time unlike his previous films that mainly are a remake in Kannada. The film is touted to be named as ‘Modi’.

As per the sources, this film will be helmed by Uday Prakash of ‘Auto Raja’ and ‘Kalla Malla Sulla’ fame. Moreover, it is learnt that Prakash is working on the script of ‘Modi’ from past one year. Shockingly, Uday has penned over half a dozen scripts, but Upendra wasn’t amused by any of them. Finally, it was the eighth script that fascinated the 47-year-old actor.

Reportedly, the title ‘Modi’ was cleared by KFCC with the tagline – ‘It is a One Man Show, No Politics Please’. Sharing an identical name ‘Modi’, Upendra clarified that the movie has nothing to do with our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Further, it is discovered that this project will be officially announced on Upendra’s birthday, which is on September 18.
