Uppi 2 to Have Midnight Shows?

As the release date for Uppi 2 is nearing, the excitement amongst Upendra’s fans is also gaining momentum. The film, which is releasing across 250 theatres in Karnataka, will also release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in at least 400 theatres, claims the latest reports. Further, it is said that the fans of the Upendra are demanding for mid-night shows as well.

Srikanth, the distributor of the flick revealed that Upendra fans are asking for midnight shows of the film. “We are planning to fulfil the fans’ demands and we are talking to theatre owners to screen a show on August 14 at about midnight. This will be at places where there is a demand for a show like this”, said Srikanth.

The advance booking of the flick has already begun today and it is said that, Kishore, who is an ardent fan of Uppi has requested for 400 tickets. Talking of Kishore , who is a part of Uppi’s Uttarahalli fan club, Cinepolis’ supervisor said, “Kishore has been enquiring for the last 15 days as to when the advance booking will be open so that he can purchase the tickets. We will be accepting his bulk booking and will be issuing the tickets once the ticket counter opens for Uppi2. His group will be occupying three auditoriums at Cinepolis during the first show on the first day”.
