Wedding Bells For Nikita Thukral

Nikita Thukral is a renowned name and face of the South Indian cinema industry. She was spotted by producer D. Ramanaidu while dining at a hotel in Juhu. He then offered her a role in his 2002 film ‘Hai’. After almost 14 years of filmy career, Nikita announced that she is set to get married this Dasara season.

The actress exclusively revealed to TOI that she is getting married to Mumbai-based industrialist Gagandeep Singh Mago this weekend. Gagandeep is the son of Mahinder Singh Mago, ex-Vice President Youth Congress and industrialist. The 35-year-old actress recall, "I met Gagan last December at my cousin's wedding. It was love at first sight for him. He asked my sister and spoke to me. Three days later, I had an emergency at home when my mother was hospitalized for vertigo. I was partying and rushed to her side. Gagan, who was in Chennai for work, flew down to be by my side and was impressed by my homely avatar. This was what made him fall for me and he proposed to me at six in the morning that same day.”

Nikita and Gagandeep are having a big fat wedding, which will be held at Mumbai five-star properties. The wedding and reception will be held on Saturday and Sunday. Some of her industry colleagues from Kannada, Tamil and Telugu will be present at the wedding to bless the couple.
