Director Prakash Jayaram's, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action drama Kannada film Tarak is hard to work with, according to Pratiksha, who is a designer. The film’s director said that he likes dressing up his actors. In the film actresses, Shanvi Srivastava and Sruthi Hariharan will be seen in a unique mix and match style with their costumes and accessories, whose credit goes to Prakash’s wife Thashwini.

Moreover, Thashwini said, “I have worked with Prakash in the past, but not as extensively as I have on Tarak. In fact, I was not his first choice to style the heroines and he was in talks with a few designers. Prakash was clear about how he wanted them to be styled, but the monetary aspect was just not working out with the designers he spoke to. As the actual shoot dates approached, he got frantic and that's when I chipped in and offered to help”.

Even though Thashwini doesn’t hold any formal training in designing, she said that her personal interest in elements of style helped her on this project. Further designer Pratiksha revealed, "Prakash and Thashwini were very clear about what they wanted, so it was easy for me to work with them”. Moreover, Sruthi, who plays a very traditional character, will be seen in tunics, skirts with blouses and palazzos with kurtas while Shanvi, has a total Indo-Western look. The film is slated to release on September 29.
