Actor Dileep Granted Bail, Says I Will Not Take Up Any Position In Any Association

Actor Dileep, who was sent to jail in connection with the kidnapping and sexual assault of a Malayalam actress, has been granted bail by the Kerala High Court. Earlier, the film association had cancelled his membership however they have decided to give his position back. It seems the actor is regaining the grounds in the Malayalam industry.

Moreover, in a recent interview, actor-politician K B Ganesh Kumar said that Dileep shouldn't accept the positions offered especially by Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA). According to him, they did not follow the procedure and Mammootty took a random decision just to please Prithiviraj. Later even actor Unnikrishnan opined that it is up to Dileep what decision he takes.

Latest reports reveal that the actor has said he will not be taking up the presidential position at Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK), After his arrest in connection with the case on July 10, Dileep was removed from the position. He said that he won’t take back any position thereafter.
