Anjana Menon to Play Cop in High Alert
Ajana Menon, who was last seen essaying the role of an affable widow in 3 Dots, will be seen playing a cop in multilingual film High Alert helmed by Chandra Mahesh. The actress told New Indian Express, “I will be playing an encounter specialist. She is a bold, powerful and a dedicated police officer. She doesn’t believe in court trials or taking the long route to justice and directly takes stringent measures. Bhuvaneshwari has various shades to her. In the uniform she is a angry bold woman but kindness and sensuality are the other attributes in her character that can be seen in various instances. She is passionate about her job”.
Talking of the stunt oriented scenes, Anjana Menon said, “I was in Malaysia when I got the call from Chandra Mahesh. I had only couple of weeks before the shoot began. So my gym instructor gave some basic training in martial arts and rest of the training was done on the sets”. She added, “In one of the stunt sequence I had to fight with a 6-ft tall don, played by Vinod Kumar”.
The film is made in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada. “The film has already got in the Indian Book of Records and Celebrity Book of World Records for being the movie to be made in four languages at the same time. Processing is going on for the Guinness Book of World Records”, said the actress.
