Anna Rajan, who essayed the role of Lichy in the movie Angamaly Diaries has signed another movie to be helmed by Lal Jose. The movie will feature Mohanlal opposite her. She will be again seen playing a role of teacher in the movie. The actress played the role of nursing tutor in her debut film.

“Anna plays an assistant professor in a college, and is a teacher of biology. Mary miss, as her character is called, is quite a strict teacher and would be seen as a regular, sari-clad faculty member. We might add a pair of spectacles too to the look, but the final decision will be taken post the look test." The film's shoot will begin on May 15. Meanwhile, Anna says she is thrilled to have bagged a role in a Mohanlal film. "I'm excited and want to ensure that I give this film my best. I don't have the liberty to speak more about the project yet, but I will be shooting for it from May,” said the film’s scriptwriter Benny P Nayarambalam.

The untitled movie will see Mohanlal playing a college professor. The film will boast an ensemble cast of Anoop Menon, Salim Kumar, Priyanka Nair, Shajon, Sidhique, Alencier Ley, Arun of Aanandam, Ustad Hotel fame Jagan (who played Thilakan's childhood) and Shyam, who portayed the role of Appani Ravi in Angamaly Diaries. "Anoop Menon's character appears in the backstory of the film. We can't reveal anything more about the plot at the moment, other than that it is a campus-based story," Benny concludes.
