    Askar Ali To Play A Visually Challenged Student In Kamuki

    Yesterday we told you that director Binu S has started working on his next film titled Kamuki. The movie is a love story and is set in college. Asif Ali's brother Askar Ali will be playing the male lead, while Aparna Balamurali will be the female lead.

    Talking about Askar’s role in the flick, Binu said, “Askar is Hari, a visually challenged college student. Aparna is Achamma, a student of the same college, who is a somewhat carefree, aimless character. The film is about their love story. It's a romantic comedy drama.”

    The team has started shooting for the flick in Kalady Sree Sankara College. This is the first time that the trio will be working with each other. Askar made his debut in Kollywood with Honey Bee 2.5 which earned rave reviews. Binu earned recognition after his debut film Ithihasa became a hit. The movie which was made on a small budget without any big star acting in it garnered good reviews.
