Autograph actor Sarath Kumar dies in mishap

Malayalam TV serial actor Sarath Kumar, who made his debut with Krishnakrupa Sagaram, was killed in a mishap at Parippally on Thursday. The accident took place at 7 am after his bike collided with a pick-up van at Mylakkadu near Parippally. Apparently, the actor was on his way to Kollam for shooting. He was 24.

Though he was rushed to a private hospital by the driver of the tipper lorry, Sarath had breathed his last on the way. The body was cremated on the premises of his house at Parippally.

Sarath was a blooming actor. He was a first-year B.Com student of the Sabari College and had acted in many popular television serials like Autograph, Swami Ayyappan, Veera Marthanda Varma and Indira. He is survived by his father, mother and younger brother.
