Biju Menon to Once Again Play A Theif

Biju Menon has earlier played the character of a lovable thief with ease in movies like Romans and Marykkundoru Kunjadu. And now what we hear that the actor will be playing a thief again in Suresh Divakar's upcoming flick which is titled as Aanakallan. The film will talk about how a person's life changes when a thief becomes part of it. The director assures this much that the movie is going to be a fun-filled family entertainer.

Aanakallan is written by Udaykrishna and is expected to go on floors on June 20. "The film will be filmed in Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, Alappuzha, Coimbatore and Thrissur," he says. As far as the cast is concerned, actors Anusree, Kaniha and Shamna Kasim will play the female leads in the film. Moreover, Siddique, Sai Kumar, Suresh Krishna, and Janardhanan will also play pivotal roles in the movie. The director told that the Lakshyam actor who has donned many a thief role in his career spanning two decades will be seen in a totally different avatar.

Meanwhile, Shamna Kasim seems quite excited to play a humorous role. The actress added, “I am a Christian girl in the film. I have been wanting to do a humorous role as I have never done one in Malayalam, though my Telugu film Seema Tapakai is an out-and-out fun film. Also, my role is totally different from the one I just completed shooting — a strict police officer in Mammootty’s Oru Kuttanadan Blog”.
