Biju Menon To Play A Mason In His Next

It seems that actor Biju Menon is all set to do something different this time. The actor will be playing a character he hasn’t tried so far in his next film. The movie is helmed by Oru Vadakk an Selfie director G Prajith and scripted by National Award-winning scriptwriter Sajeev Pazhoor, whose previous movie was Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum.

As per the reports, it is said by Sajeev that Biju will be seen as a mason, who is also an out-and-out family man. He also mentioned that there would be a lot of humour in the story and it would be a family entertainer. “We often think about masons and labourers as those striving to make ends meet, who work hard and lead a tough life. But, in the little time, they have outside work, they enjoy it fully with their friends. Biju’s character is such a person,” says the scriptwriter.

This yet to be titled flick will have some real-life masons as part of the cast. On this, Sajeev says, “Our cast would be a mix of professional masonry workers, theatre artists and others”. Moreover, Shehnad Jalal is helming the cinematography and Shaan Rahman will be the composer of the film.

Apart from Biju Menon, Alencier also plays a major role in the film, which will go on floors in September.
