Confirmed! Malayalam Superstar Mammootty To Play Late Andhra Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy

A biopic on the Late Andhra Chief Minister,  Y.S Rajasekhar Reddy has been a hot topic of Mollywood. Many reports earlier suggested that top actors of the industry have been approached for YSR’s role. However, seems like those reports were just rumours as we know who has been finally finalised for the role.

It is now confirmed that superstar Mammootty has given his consent to play the role of YSR in the movie. The news was confirmed by the director of the film, Mahi V Raghav. He took to twitter to announce the news. He wrote, “It’s Truly an HONOUR sir. Humbled and Grateful for the opportunity”.

Titled as Yatra, the film will be made in Tollywood. The superstar is making his comeback to Tollywood after a gap of twenty-five years. Swati Kiranam was his last film in Tollywood which was about an arrogant musical teacher who is insecure about his student’s extraordinary talent.
