Dileesh Pothan Refutes Rumours Of Directing Kumbalangi Nights

Rumours were doing rounds that Fahadh Faasil and Shane Nigam will star in director Dileesh Pothan’s, popular for directing Maheshinte Prathikaram, next movie titled Kumbalangi Nights. It was also reported that Shyam Pushkaran will be writing the script. However, now Dileesh has refuted all the rumours stating that the flick will not be directed by him.

"It will be helmed by Madhu C Narayanan, one of my associates. Shyam will be writing the script.” He also added that he will be producing the movie along with Fahadh and Shyam.

When asked from Pothan about his future projects, he said that he is still looking for an idea. Dileesh’s last directorial venture was Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum which released on June 30 this year and was praised by people for novel theme and narrative style. The film starred Suraj Venjaramoodu, Fahadh Faasil, Nimisha Sajayan, Alencier Ley Lopez and Sibi Thomas in the lead roles.
