Dulquer Salmaan Will Portray Murderer Sukumara Kurup

Dulquer Salmaan’s Karwan trailer has just released and the actor seems all set to play something different this time. He will reportedly play the lead role of the real-life character Sukumara Kurup, an infamous murderer who is still in the hiding. Dulquer has made it official with a Facebook post that this is a dream project for the actor.

Sreenath Raveendran will be directing the movie. There are already a few movies that were made based on his life which include Adoor Gopalakrishnan's 'Pinneyum' released in 2016. The movie featured Dileep and Kavya Madhavan in lead roles.

Sukumara Kurup is on the list of the most-wanted people of the police and is still in his hiding. Sukumara Kurup murdered a person In 1984 named Chacko and masked as the murdered person to claim a huge insurance amount from the company Kurup worked in.

It is said that the movie promises to be different from all other movies based on Kurup's enigmatic life. Moreover, as per the reports, the movie will be produced by Dulquer only. Also, Jithin K Jose and Jishnu Sreekumar have teamed up for the script work of this movie.
