Gokul Becomes ‘Nadaan’ For Pappu

Actor Gokul, son of actor Suresh Gopi received appreciation after his debut movie Mudhugauv where he essayed the role of an engineering student. And now the actor is all set to entertain us with his next movie titled Pappu which is being helmed by Jayaram Kailas of Akkaldhamayile Pennu fame. Now since the word Pappu is usually synonymous with being innocent, the actor will be seen flaunting simple innocent look in the movie.

"Gokul plays the titular role of an aimless and jobless youth, whom you might come across in the villages of Kerala. He has undergone a makeover to look like a village youth. He will sport a beard and his outfits too will add to his naadan look," said the director.

The movie, which is a romcom, will show Gokul's character’s love for a girl who lives in the same village as he but is very shy of expressing it to her. "We are introducing a new face, Ishni from New Zealand, to play his love interest Nisha. She will be seen as a village belle, who is strong and has a firm vision about her life," Kailas explains. The flick will start rolling by the second week of May.
