‘Happy wedding’ To Have A Tamil Remake Starring Udhayanidhi Stalin

Omar Lulu made his directorial debut in Mollywood with the film ‘Happy wedding’ which released in 2016. The movie which starred Premam fame Siju Wilson and Sharafudheen in the lead roles emerged as a sleeper hit and enjoyed the theatrical run for more than 100 days. Though the film was made on a small budget, it earned huge profits.

And now the super hit is going to have a Tamil remake. The Tamil version of the movie will star none other than Udhayanidhi Stalin. Omar confirmed about the same by sharing his photo with Stalin.

Though the director’s name has not been revealed, it looks like the remake will be directed by Omar himself. The makers will soon make an official announcement regarding the cast and crew members of the film. Omar is currently busy shooting for his next movie, a teenage love story ‘Oru Adaar Love’ which went on floors recently.

Udhayanidhi is awaiting the release of his upcoming movie ‘Nimir’, which is also the remake of National award winning Malayalam movie ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’. The film which is directed by Priyadarshan will hit theatres on January 26.
