Plagiarism is one of most common issues in the film industry, especially in Mollywood. Vineeth Sreenivasan recently requested aspiring writers to protect their story ideas and not to share them on social media platforms. “I would never harm an aspiring writer”, he shared.

The actor-director addressed the issue on his blog, writing, “Every aspiring writer should think about protecting his own content. As a writer, I get inspired from people, books, movies, travel and personal experiences but I would never harm an aspiring writer by using his content. I know the amount of hard work that goes into writing a script. So, to save troubles for u and for me; pls PROTECT UR CONTENT!!”.

He also warned people not to reveal their ideas and scripts on social networking websites. “PLS do not send ur story ideas, ur screenplay or the synopsis of ur work to me through facebook, whatsapp, email or through any other means without confirming with me. There are a lot of people who do that now a days”, added the screenwriter.
