Iniya All Set To Participate in Badminton Tournament

Iniya has, many times, showed her dancing skills on screen but not many people know that the South Indian actress is also a badminton player. The Malayalam actress is all geared up to participate in Badminton tournament featuring celebrities. Iniya seemed quite excited to take hold of the racquet and make the serves.

She told TOI, “As a student, I was quite active in sports and used to be a regular contestant in events like swimming and badminton, and have also won prizes in them”. She added, “Though I used to jump to the court for fun with my brothers and sisters during vacation or whenever time permitted, it's been a long time since I played the game. However, for the past one and a half months, I have been devoting time to train for the badminton match and I am overjoyed to take part in it”.

Iniya is the only actress from Mollywood, who is taking part in the tournament. Malayalam actors such as Vijay Yesudas, Munna and Ramesh Nambiar are also expected to join the game. Jayam Ravi, Bharath, Krishna and singer Krish are some of the names from Kollywood industry, who will be participating in this badminton tournament, which is scheduled to take place in Toronto.
