Jewel Mary To Team Up With Jayasurya For His Next Njan Marykutty

Mollywood actress Jewel Mary made her debut with Salim Ahammed's film Pathemari along with Mammootty in 2015. The film also fetched her Asiavision award for Best Debut. After a break in Mollywood, the actress will be seen in the upcoming film Njan Marykutty alongside actor Jayasurya.

While the actress will be seen alongside Jayasurya, she will not be seen opposite the actor. The film will be helmed by filmmaker Ranjith Sanker. Going by its first look, Jayasurya will be seen portraying the role of a transgender.

The Njan Marykutty team is currently occupied with the shooting of the film and the shooting is going on at Thodupuzha. Helmed by Ranjith Sanker, the film will be bankrolled by Punyalan Cinemas of Jayasurya and Ranjith Sanker. This will be the fourth time that they will collaborate for bankrolling a film. They had earlier produced Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam, Pretham and Punyalan PVt Ltd.
