Karthik Subbaraj Responded On Rumours About Fahadh In Rajinikanth Movie

Rumours are doing the rounds down south that Fahadh Faasil will be sharing screen space with Rajinikanth in Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming Tamil movie. The movie also has Vijay Sethupati playing the antagonist.

However, the Jigarthanda director slammed all the rumours by saying that Fahadh’s casting is “just a rumour”. It is also said that the movie will also be featuring Bobby Simha and Anjali in pivotal roles. Other than this, Karthik had earlier said in an interview that the film will be a light-hearted one and won’t be political.

Talking about Fahadh, the actor has made his Tamil debut last year with Velaikkaran. He is now awaiting his second Tamil movie Super Deluxe, which also has Vijay Sethupathi as part of one of the film’s snippets. Moreover, earlier, with the yet-untitled project has gone on the floors from June, rumours made the rounds that actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is most likely to play the antagonist in the movie. But Nawazuddin’s manager clarified no such development took place.
