Mahanati Poster Release: Dulquer, Keerthy Recreate Savitri-Gemini Ganesan's Chemistry

These days, one of the much-awaited movies of the year, ‘Mahanati’, is doing rounds after the release of a poster on social media where Dulquer Salmaan and Keerthy Suresh seem to be involved romantically. Nonetheless, the actors have successfully achieved the on-screen chemistry between legendary actors Gemeni Ganeshan and Savitiri. However, the makers are yet to respond whether it is an official poster or a fan-made poster.

Moreover, the look of Keerthy in the poster has already kindled the curiosity of the fans as it is giving closest resemblance to Savitri. It’s like for a moment you wonder whether it’s Savitri or Keerthy. To be directed by debutant director Nag Ashwin, the film also features Samantha Akkineni, Shalini Pandey and Vijay Deverakonda .

Notably, the film will cover the life of Savitri from 1940s to 1980s; featuring the prominent actors she acted with from the Tamil and Telugu film industries, such as Akkineni Nageshwara Rao and NT Rama Rao. Further, the film’s release date has been pushed further from March as the VFX work is taking longer than expected. Meanwhile, the director is in talks with actor Jr NTR to play the younger version of his grandfather Akkineni Nageshwara Rao.
