    Mammootty Feels Delighted To Be Part Of A Society That Views Human Beings As Human Beings

    Actor Mammootty has recently attended the transgender beauty pageant, Queen of Dhwayah 2018. The superstar had been the chief guest of the event and poured his heart out while giving a speech. He expressed that he is proud to be part of a society that respects and accepts people as they are and views everybody as human beings without any discrimination in the name of gender or colour.

    In the speech, he said, "For me, this is a very rare and impossible programme. I am very proud to be here and I realise that Kerala society, its culture, its people and everything of it have started accepting people as they are. The actor felt extremely delighted to be part of a society that views human beings as human beings without discriminating with gender or colour or anything.

    He also said that he does not think that an event like Dhwayah will happen anywhere in India. "The biggest achievement of our culture is that we have embraced a group whom the world has isolated and mocked at. We can proudly tell the world that we are from Kerala where we see people as people, not a man and woman," he said.

    Moreover, Mammootty narrated his meeting with train persons that happened two years back during a television programme and also how he chose the heroine for his Tamil movie Peranmbu
