Mammootty Signs His Next

Holla fans! Megastar Mammootty has been roped in for a lead role in an upcoming film titled Streetlights. Debutant Shamdat Sainudeen will be wielding this megaphone. A source close to the unit has revealed that the film will take off by the end of this month.

As per sources, “Streetlights will be an out and out thriller. The crew is currently busy with the final discussions regarding the shoot and it is too early to divulge more details of the project.” Shamdat has many hit films in around four languages to his credit.

Shamdat, who is predominantly known for his works including Kamalhassan’s Uttamavillain, Viswaroopam 2 and Rithu, has previously cranked camera for Mammootty’s Venicile Vyapari and Pramani. Meanwhile, the actor has some big projects lined-up, which would certainly help the actor gain that much needed big hit. However, fans are ardent to witness the charisma of the actor in the film.
