Mammootty Starrer ‘Maamaankam’ To Star Two Young Stars

Mollywood superstar Mammootty is known to have starred in many blockbuster movies such as Thappana, Kasaba and Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha. The star will be next seen in the movie titled as ‘Maamaankam’. According to a story published on timesofindia.indiatimes.com, the shooting of the upcoming movie will start in the second week of February.

The latest news is that stars Neeraj Madhav and Druvan have also been roped in to star in the upcoming movie. The movie is helmed by Sajeev Pillai, who is known to have helmed the movie The Village Girl. On being asked about the two young stars being roped into the project, the filmmaker said, “Neeraj and Druvan will play important roles in the movie”.

He further added, “The cast will have newcomers and also a few established actors. However, we will be confirming the big names only after the shooting in February is over”. The storyline of ‘Maamaankam’ is based in the 17th century and is about the Chaverukal warriors who plan to usurp the throne of Zamorin rulers.
