Mohanlal to play dual role in his next

If rumors are to be believed, Mohanlal has been roped in to play dual role in a Malayalam-Sanskrit bilingual based on the story titled ‘Kamamohitham’ written by renowned Malayalam writer CV Balakrishnan. Interestingly, Mohanlal will be seen in an experimental role after a long time.

"The film is the story of sage Jaajali, who tries to learn the science of love," says Harihardaz, director of the film. Mohanlal will portray both the sage and a landlord named Sagaraduthan. "The personalities of both the characters are poles apart and thus, there is enough scope to witness some great acting moments by Mohanlal," the filmmaker adds.

Initially, Sanskrit was chosen as the language of the film as it is set in the ancient times. "However, we later decided to present it in Malayalam as well as that would help the story's reach. As of now, its scripting is progressing in Sanskrit," Harihardaz elaborates.

"We are planning to cast a fresh face as the film's heroine. The rest of the cast and the technicians are not finalised yet," he signs off.
