Mohanlal-Priyadarshan Venture Postponed To Next Year

Director Priyadarshan had announced a big budget film starring Universal star and his friend Mohanlal in the lead. The film was supposed to go on floors from the first week of October. But according to the reports, the project has been postponed to March 2016.

The reason for postponing the venture was the bad weather condition in its major location Azerbaijan. The temperature has dropped to minus level and has made it impossible to start the shoot with such a big team. The film has a budget of Rs. 30 crore and it is expected that the flick will be the most expensive film made in Mollywood.

The director has worked with the Jilla actor earlier also. The duo was popular during the 1980s and 1990s. They have worked together in films like ‘Poochakkoru Mookkuthi’, ‘Mazha Peyyunnu Maddalam Kottunnu’, ‘Thalavattam’ and many more. Aparna Gopinath will be seen playing the role of the female lead in the yet to be titled project. The film will be produced by Jaison Pulikkottil and Rouf Ji Mehdiyev.
