Mohanlal Starrer ‘Thanmathra’ To Be Remade In Hindi

Mohanlal’s 2005 blockbuster ‘Thanmathra’ got a great reception from the audiences when it released a decade back. The film received great reviews from critics and it also won the Best Feature Film in Malayalam at the National Film Awards. Reportedly, Blessy, the director of the film, is all set to remake it in Hindi.

During a recent interview to a leading daily, the director said he is currently busy with the pre-production activities of the remake. He said, "Right now, I am busy with the pre-production work of the film. We are in discussions with several actors for the cast. I will make an official announcement once all details are confirmed".

Speculations were rife that Tamil actor Vikram will play the male lead in the Hindi version. But the director denied and said that he has taken no decision as of now. After wrapping up the film, Blessy will start the shoot of Prithviraj’s 'Aadujeevitham'.
