Mohanlal Walks Out Of ‘Gaadha’

Mohanlal, who was roped in by director Shaji N. Karun for his next titled ‘Gaadha’, has walked out of the movie. The project has been shelved as of now. The director himself revealed the news but refused to disclose the reason, and no one knows the exact reason behind walking out of the Jilla actor.

Speculations are rife, that the director asked the actor to cut down his remuneration, as it was a big budget movie and he was having some financial issues. But Mohanlal refused to compromise on his pay and backed out of the venture. He also had a clash over remuneration with director Hariharan few months back.

Another set of rumours suggest that the Peruchazhi actor lost his interest in the movie and was not confident about it. But the director refused to comment on the reports and said that he will soon resume the project with a new actor. The actor and the director have worked together in the hit 1999 flick ‘Vanaprastham’, for which the actor won his second National Award for Best Actor.
