Nithin Renji Panicker’s Next To Go On Floors By February End

Since the release of his first ever film Kasaba, director Nithin Renji Panicker has been in the news very much.  He was criticised for anti-women content in the film. However, the director has denied of any of the scenes in the film being anti-feministic in an interview with TOI.

He also informed TOI that his upcoming film, Lelam 2, will go on floors by the end of February 2018. The film is a sequel of Joshiy’s directorial featuring Suresh Gopi. Nithin told TOI, "The film will be scripted by my dad, Renji Panicker."

The flick has Suresh Gopi, MG Soman, Siddique, N F Varghese, Nandini, Maniyanpilla Raju, Vijayakumar, Spadikam George and Kaviyoor Renuka in the lead roles. Notably, it was also the last film of popular actor MG Soman. Well, the story of the film revolves around two rival families, both of which are involved in liquor business.
