    Priyanka Agrawal Roped In For 1971: Beyond Borders

    The model-turned-actress Priyanka Agrawal has been roped in for 1971: Beyond Borders. Ravi’s flick already has quite a cast with Mohanlal, Allu Sirish and Bollywood actor Arunoday Singh in pivotal characters. It will be Priyanka’s debut flick, where she would play one of the two actresses.

    "Priyanka plays the wife of Pakistani Lieutenant Colonel Rana Sharif, who will be essayed by Arunoday Singh. She will be seen in two looks - as a 65-year-old and as her younger self", revealed Ravi. Moreover, she has featured in several Punjabi and Hindi music videos.

    The flick was said to be based on a real-life Pakistani soldier of the Pakistani Frontier Force during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. On being part of the project, Priyanka said, "I had worked with him for an advertisement that Priyadarshan sir had directed. So, I am looking forward to working in the film". It is interesting to know that veteran Mohanlal will play the character of Major Mahadevan for the fourth time in this movie.
